Podcast with Off-Grid Ireland: The Approaching Velvet Moment
We need to become certain that there is nothing questionable about our right to defend our nation, our dear land, our communities, our children’s birthright, their safety, their homeland, their home.
The Power of the Powerless
Now we know what it is like to live at the end of an epoch. When we awaken to the realisation that, out there on the highways, streets and byways, those who are charged with framing and implementing the laws designed to maintain the nation in a state of peace and security have turned rogue, we receive a belated tutorial concerning the Fall of Rome. Purchased from their rancid insoles to the pins of their shirt-collars, our treasonous self-appointed rulers function as dogsbodies to plunder, maim and assassinate their own people, using the corrupted institutions and quisling personnel that we assumed to be the bulwarks and guardians of our sanctuary, our existential home, our dear land. The Government has ceased to respond to the will of the people, because it no longer works for the people. and recognises only its paymasters and instructors perched above.
The time is coming when we Irish may have to take care we do not libel Oliver Cromwell by comparing him to the dastards to whom we foolishly handed the reins of our nation!
But that moment will signal also a change of another kind, because evil and lies always lose: Once the people perceive that the evildoers can bury the truth for no longer, the pseudo-reality will come tumbling down. That moment is coming.
How well are we prepared? Should a moment arrive when the establishment is no longer able to cover up its crimes, how will that play out? How well are we equipped to disperse the widespread delusion that some ‘authority’ will step in to take control, that there is only us and the evildoers? Are we ready for the final realisation that the ‘authorities’ are the true criminals among us? And how do we conduct ourselves now so that moment, when it arrives, can be maximised in moral terms, so that when it comes the criminals will, as did the Communists in Czechoslovakia in 1989 (image above), simply stand down and run for the hills?
And can we answer now, above all, this question: Who now constitutes the ‘We’ that must prepare for this moment, given that our nation is on the verge of outright destruction and our supposed government is at war with its own people?
